How do you feel about illustrations in your books? Graphs? Photos? Sketches?I guess it would depend on the books. I think that children books should have them. It would help a child visualize the story a bit better. Non-Fiction needs to have images, because I imagine the books would be absolutely boring without them. Books for dummies definately need images. Cookbooks should have them as well, I would like to know, if my cooking is even close, to resembling what it is suppose to look like.
As for fiction books, I don't think I would like them. I think they would be distracting. Perhaps, if they had a map in in the beginning of the book, or if the image was needed to make a specific point, but in general, I don't think I would care for them.
What about you?
